Rogers Memorial Hospital, a World Leader in OCD Treatment, To Open a New Treatment Facility December 16

Each year, Rogers Memorial Hospital treats people from throughout the United States, Canada and even China for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Due to growing demand, the hospital will move its current OCD Center on December 16. Already one of the largest, most comprehensive OCD adult residential treatment programs in the world, the new location is nestled on a 23-acre peninsula between Lower Nashotah and Upper Nemahbin lakes in the Village of Summit.

Be aware of utility payment scams

Local businesses continue to encounter scams involving their Madison Gas and Electric (MGE) bill. Both large and small businesses have been targets. The scammer contacts a business owner and poses as a representative from MGE. They attempt to collect money claiming past-due accounts and/or upgrades or repairs to utility meters. The Alliance Elects Three New Directors to Board

Three new directors were elected to The Alliance Board at the cooperative’s annual meeting on Oct. 22, 2013.

Mark Rieland, director of human resources at Flambeau, Inc., Baraboo, and Mark Stevens, vice president for business affairs at Maranatha Baptist Bible College, Watertown, Wis., were elected to three-year terms that will begin in January 2014. Larry Pribyl, chief financial officer (CFO) at Trachte Building Systems, Sun Prairie, was elected to a term that runs through year-end 2014.

SVA Food and Fund Drive Raised Nearly 16,000 Meals in Support of Second Harvest Foodbank

SVA, in their annual tradition, is kicking off the holiday season by giving to people in need. From November 4th through December 2nd the firm’s Madison offices participated in a food/fund drive benefiting Second Harvest Foodbank. The drive was conducted as a part of the NBC 15 Share Your Holidays to Eliminate Hunger campaign. The event is southwestern Wisconsin’s largest food/fund drive campaign spanning six weeks and culminating with a grand finale event held on December 12.
