In 2016 the Chamber will redefine what a business expo delivers to attendees and exhibitors with neXXpo on Tuesday, August 23 at the Monona Terrace. Attendees will see and experience what’s next in business products and services, as well as enjoying two exciting business pitch contests, the Zendesk “Make it a Double” happy hour and much more. This year, attendees will also be able to visit with and vote for Greater Madison’s Most Innovative Company.

4:00 p.m.
StartUp Showcase: An evening of startup pitches from some of Madison’s most compelling emerging companies. A select group of rising startups will give a five-minute “demo day” style pitch showcasing their company. Co-hosted by Capital Entrepreneurs and Accelerate Madison.

5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
neXXpo, featuring Zendesk “Make it a Double” Happy Hour: Help yourself to appetizers and drinks as you do some “nextworking” with a diverse crowd of entrepreneurs, small businesses and enterprise all in one location. You can also check out creative, cutting-edge businesses at our “innovation hubs” and cast your vote for our first-ever Most Innovative Company (MIC) award.

7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Pressure Chamber: 
Step aside Shark Tank. This pitch contest offers greater Madison’s most promising early-stage companies exposure to the region’s business community and top investors. Contestants compete for an all-expenses paid trip to pitch to investors in Silicon Valley.

The Forward Festival Startup Showcase, sponsored by Capital Entrepreneurs and Accelerate Madison, features an evening of startup pitches from some of Madison’s most compelling emerging companies. Five to seven startups will be selected to give a five-minute “demo day” style pitch. In addition, several Startup Showcase alumni from past years will take part in a lightning round of one-minute update pitches.
