Downtown Plan Moves Forward with Chamber Support

Chamber Executive Vice President Delora Newton testified before the Madison Plan Commission last night in support of the City’s draft Downtown Plan. Working with our partner organizations, we successfully advocated for changes in the draft plan to ensure it balances preservation with viable economic development and allows for innovation. Delora Newton Appointed to Bus Rapid Transit Study Committee

Chamber Executive Vice President Delora Newton has been appointed to serve on two committees that will study the costs and feasibility of implementing a bus rapid transit (BRT) system in high capacity corridors in the Madison area.
