Park Bank, Madison’s longest serving community bank, announces the following promotions in several key positions at the bank including business banking, treasury management and private banking.
Peter Benson has been promoted to First Vice President of Business Banking. Benson joined Park Bank in 1998 and has fulfilled a number of banking roles culminating in his current position in business banking at the new Hilldale-University Avenue branch. In addition, Benson recently completed the Graduate School of Banking degree at the University of Wisconsin.
Sarah Brenden has accepted the position of Assistant Vice President of Private Banking at the Capitol Square branch. With over 10 years of experience at Park Bank, Brenden understands the impact a community bank can have on the community and also dedicates time to volunteering including serving as the President of the Fitchburg Chamber of Commerce.
Sam Huntington, former Vice President of Treasury Management, is now First Vice President of Treasury Management. With over 25 years of experience in many areas of banking, Huntington helps business clients achieve efficient cash management processes through accelerated payment collection and deposit maximization.
Michael Johnston has been promoted to First Vice President of Business Banking at the Middleton branch. Johnston’s career includes over 20 years of experience in commercial banking and he has extensive experience in commercial real estate and development, company acquisitions, and specialized tax credit financing.
Mike Lawrence has been promoted to First Vice President of Business Banking. With over 25 years in financial services, Lawrence assists business clients with acquisition loans, new market tax credits and complex real estate transactions. Lawrence is active in the community serving on the board of directors for the Aaron J. Meyer Foundation and the Keep Wisconsin Warm/Cool Fund.
