MADISON, Wis. (October 2016) – The Madison office of Kraus-Anderson Construction Company (KA), one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest commercial general contractors and construction managers, has hired Robert Breest and John Glaser as project superintendents.
A 40-year industry veteran, Breest has managed complex projects in retail, manufacturing, government, recreational and housing. He was president and CEO of Milwaukee-based HC Breest Inc., and most recently served as a senior superintendent for Brookfield-Wis.-based Innovative Construction Services. Breest earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Marquette University, Milwaukee. He is a member of the Paine Art Center, and previously served on the advisory boards to the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh, WE Energy’s Energy for Tomorrow and the Schauer Arts Center.
Glaser has over 25 years of construction administration experience managing multi-million dollar projects, ranging from waste water treatment plants to wind farms. Most recently, he was a project superintendent for Williams Brothers Construction, Inc. in Peoria, Ill. and for Phalen Steele Construction in Mendota, Ill. Glaser received his B.S. in Construction Technology from Illinois State University, Normal. He holds several certifications, including those with Homeland Security, FEMA and OSHA.
