The law firm of Stafford Rosenbaum LLP recently announced Johanna J. Allex has been elected to the firm’s Board of Directors, and Laura Skilton Verhoff has been re-elected to firm’s Board of Directors.
“Johanna will be great asset to the firm’s Board of Directors,” said Christopher Hughes, the firm’s managing partner, “and with Johanna’s understanding of clients’ needs and business acumen, we are confident she will effectively help lead the firm to continued successes.”
Ms. Allex is a partner in the firm’s Madison office where her practice covers all aspects of estate planning and estate administration, marital property law, business succession planning, and tax-exempt organization planning and operations. Allex is a Certified Public Accountant. Her practice also includes working as an impartial mediator to help families and individuals resolve disputes involving probate, trust administration and adult guardianships.
“Laura’s reelection to firm’s Board of Directors will continue to benefit the firm,” said Hughes, “as she brings a keen awareness of our clients’ needs and strong leadership skills to the position.”
Ms. Skilton Verhoff’s practice includes creditors’ rights in bankruptcy, foreclosure and collection, estate and trust planning and administration, including probate, and litigation. Skilton Verhoff regularly represents creditors in bankruptcy, foreclosure and collection matters. She also represents individuals, handling a broad range of estate and trust planning and administration matters. Her litigation practice includes probate, lemon law and breach of warranty, subrogation and insurance litigation. Skilton Verhoff is a partner in the firm’s Madison office.
