Catholic Charities Named One of the “Largest 100 Employers in Dane County” by In Business Magazine for Third Year in a Row
MADISON: Catholic Charities is pleased to announce that In Business Magazine has named them one of the “Largest 100 Employers in Dane County” for the third year in a row.
Each year In Business Magazine features the state of the corporate world in Dane County by highlighting the top 100 companies, ranked by the number of full-time employees (not including government entities).
Catholic Charities came in at #80 on the list, up from #81 last year. Currently employing 187 full-time and 142 part-time employees in Dane county alone. The agency provides low-cost or free social services to people living in 11 counties in South-central Wisconsin.
“This year we’re celebrating our 70th anniversary! Since 1946 we have provided help to kids, families, and individuals,” said Katie Lyons, Human Resources Manager of Catholic Charities. “We serve and employ persons regardless of sexual orientation, religious, ethnic, racial or social background.”
